Watercolour Painting Course | Wednesdays 6.30-9pm | 22nd Oct - 12 Nov | Adult Art Class
Time: 6.30-9pm
Date: Wed 22nd Oct, 29th Oct, 5th Nov, 12th Nov 2025
Location: Millworks, 28 Field Road, Busby, G76 8SE
How do we use watercolours?
Over 4 weeks we will go over the fundamental techniques of wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting, look at layering watercolours with colour theory to give your painting more depth, and also use some more alternative methods to get textures within your artworks.
Each week we’ll look at different ways to use your watercolours. This will give you a whole host of new techniques, colour palettes and techniques in your armour to take forward within your own art.
I love that with watercolour we don’t need loads of materials and it’s not as expensive as say oils. It’s quick, emotive and so so versatile. I’d love for you to love it as much as me!
There will be a balance of step-by-step techniques and going at your own pace.
Suitable for complete beginners or those looking to learn more. My main aim is to build your confidence with using the paints.
By the end of the course you’ll have between 4-8 complete paintings and a host of armoury up your sleeve to paint from home.
MATERIALS INCLUDED.
Spaces are limited. More info below.
