Paint Your Pet Workshop | Sun 14th June 2-5pm | Adult Art Class

£50.00

Time: 2-5pm
Date: Sun 14th June 2026
Location: Millworks, 28 Field Road, Busby, G76 8SE

Paint a picture of your pet! Dog, cat, rabbit, budgie, snake, whatever your pet you’ll leave with a painting of your best friend.

Even if you’ve not painted since school, I promise you’ll leave with a painting to be proud of! Acrylics are probably the most widely used due to their versatility, coverage and quick drying time - great for beginners - and perfect for animals.

We will explore blending colours, applying fur textures, along with using tone within our colour mixing.

Whatever your level, I’ll tailor the lesson to your ability.

All materials are included in the workshop.

I’ll contact you the week before the class to send the photograph of your pet you would like to paint so I can prep for you.

Why this class?

If you’ve always wanted to paint a picture of your pet, but can’t quite get the likeness, proportions, or just not sure where to start, this is for you. We’ll learn with acrylics - a great versatile type of paint for beginners.

Enjoy an afternoon away from it all to learn some new skills, have a chat and zone out! I keep a very relaxed class.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own refreshments too (wine is allowed!)

Venue

The venue is in my new studio in Busby, Glasgow. It’s a 10 minute walk from Busby Train Station and the number 6 bus stops nearby too. There is free parking outside the venue.

Unfortunately the room is on the first floor with no lift access. My sincere apologies if this is a barrier to you attending.

Timings

Class will start promptly at 2pm, so please arrive 5 minutes early to allow for settling in. Class will end at 5pm.

Materials List

 - Acrylic Paper / canvas
 - Tear off palette
 - Masking Tape

If you’d like any advice or suggestions, I’ve put my favourite materials here.

Cancellation policy

Fingers crossed there won’t be any disruptions to class, but in the case the class needs to be cancelled, I’ll offer a full refund or transfer to another class. If you have purchased a ticket and can no longer make it, I have a 72 hour cancellation policy. If cancelled more than 72 hours before, I’ll offer a full refund or transfer to another class, but unfortunately if within the 72 hours and I’m unable to fill the spot (I will try the waiting list!) then I can’t offer a refund.
