Mindful Art Class | Wed 3 Sep 6.30-8pm | Adult Art Class
Time: 6.30-8pm
Date: Wed 3rd September 2025
Location: Millworks, 28 Field Road, Busby, G76 8SE
Mindfulness is one of the most important things you can do for your brain. It aids mental clarity, calms our nervous system and so much more. But sitting with a guided meditation isn’t the only way we can be mindful. There are so many different ways. Art is a great tool for this.
I first got into back into painting to help my mental health and so this is something close to my heart that I really believe works. So many people attend my workshops and say it’s been the most relaxing time of their week, they say they’ve got lost in their paintings or they’ve not thought about anything else in the past 2 hours. And I can’t tell you how happy for them I am.
I’ve created a short class that can help you unwind, be present and be mindful through creation. We’ll use a variety of materials and a variety of exercises that you can take home with you, to use in your everyday life.
Please note, I’m not a qualified mindfulness practitioner, I’ve simply learnt through experience what works within my art materials to clear our heads. I’ve taught similar classes in schools and for clients like the National Museum of Scotland.
You don’t have to be able to draw or paint to come along to this.
All materials are included in the workshop.
