Grandad - Watercolour Portrait
This watercolour portrait is of my Grandad, Gill.
My Grandad is 82, has Alzheimer’s and is currently being looked after in a home. He still knows who we are, but it takes a little longer to understand things now and that’s the look I wanted to capture in this portrait. This portrait was from October 2019. He’s changed a lot since then, so this serves to capture this moment in time.
I love using watercolour paint to layer up and create texture and depth.
