Nothing beats the freeness of applying the first brushstroke to a blank canvas.

I feel my way through paintings from a loose initial concept until a more detailed final piece appears - some artworks become more figurative than others, but always punchy.

I love bold, vibrant colour and very rarely create something without it.

My artworks range in themes and subjects, but all have emotion as the backbone.

Currently I am using my art practice to combine different mediums like collage and pencil on top of ink, and using expressive brushwork to portray my ideas. I love exploring surrealism and creating abstracted final results.
