The Pink Octopus was the first painting from this collection. I love that octopuses can change colour and when painting this octopus I decided on a vibrant pink colour. I loved the idea of painting this octopus in inks when are synonymous with releasing ink!

The painting was created using ink on hot-pressed watercolour paper. I used a dip pen with black ink for the small details and bold brush strokes and drips with a pink ink.

The original painting has sold, but there are still prints available in A4 or A3.

Feedback on the print quality has been brilliant - the colour match is spot on and they’re printed on thick art paper.

Prints are sent in a cellophane wrapper with cardboard sheet to keep them protected and in good condition. You can also pick up from the Glasgow studio, if you’d prefer.
