The Fire Scorpion
Scorpions have so many little details - I loved painting this one. I added to the danger of scorpions by adding some fire too!
The painting was created using ink on hot-pressed watercolour paper. I used a dip pen with black ink for the small details and mixed yellows and reds to create the fiery streak behind.
The original painting has sold, but there are still prints available in A4 or A3.
Feedback on the print quality has been brilliant - the colour match is spot on and they’re printed on thick art paper.
Prints are sent in a cellophane wrapper with cardboard sheet to keep them protected and in good condition. You can also pick up from the Glasgow studio, if you’d prefer.
