The Sea Turtle

from £15.00

The Sea Turtle is my most popular print. The vibrancy of the turquoise sea makes a great print for any room in the house as it really pops!

The Sea Turtle painting was created using ink on hot-pressed watercolour paper. I used a dip pen with black ink for the small details and mixed greens and blues to make the idyllic sea colour.

Did you know there are only about 8,000 marine turtles left in the wild? Turtles play a vital role in ocean ecosystems and unfortunately are diminishing at a rapid rate due to poaching, over-exploitation, fishing incidents and plastic in the oceans. I was reading up on turtles and decided to paint one.

The original painting has sold, but there are still prints available in A4 or A3 and 1 A2 left.

Feedback on the print quality has been brilliant - the colour match is spot on and they’re printed on thick art paper.

Sea turtle prints are sent in a cellophane wrapper with cardboard sheet to keep them protected and in good condition. You can also pick up from the Glasgow studio, if you’d prefer.
